BLOG WEEK 17
Blog week 17
26/05/22
Hello Miss馃挆馃挅馃構, I hope you have had a very good week, this is the last one before the midterms and honestly, I am a bit nervous. But I have faith that if I try hard enough I can do well in all the subjects and they will be able to give the cycle with good grades. I think this cycle has been my favorite so far because they have given us homework to help us practice and improve our English. I really love writing. It is one of my favorite activities and composition has been one of my best subjects. I thoroughly enjoy it and would like to have more the future because it makes me happy.馃挆馃挆馃挆
The last assigned task was to talk about us and do something that the truth is that I had never done before. It was fun having to remember a lot of things that I did today at school and when you are younger, that is, in kindergarten. For example, but this type of activity also helps me to see how much I have grown as a person and a very good task that I enjoy doing.馃槍馃挍
Here I attach the task:

My name is Andrea Gavidia Iraheta, I was broorn on May
31, 2001, I am a woman, approximately 1.63 m
tall, with light skin, brown eyes and brown hair I live in Santa Tecla, El
Salvador, in a very nice colony called
"Pinares de suiza" I live with my family, my mother Cati de Gavidia,
my father Wilfredo Gavidia, and my two sisters Maria Jose and Alina Gavidia I am the first
daughter, I mean the oldest of my sisters., and previously my dog who passed
away months ago, Miley Gavidia, i love my family so much and to be honest i
wouldnt know what to do witouth them. I got to study graphic design but it didn't catch me
enough, it wasn't what I wanted to do, so in the present I study at the
Evangelical University of El Salvador, in the career "Translation and
interpretation of the English language". I
like the subjects, what they have taught me, the career in general, it helps me
to practice and improve my English, and for me changing my career was one of
the best decisions I have ever made.
I had a good, quiet childhood I loved watching disney
series and movies, and I still love it I've always been a fan of animation ,and
I have always been grateful that my parents have been very loving, attentive
and educated me to be a good person, with manners, efficient, and who fights
for what i always wants.
I think it shows a lot in the person that I have become everything they
have taught me, not to give up if bad things happen, to always be attentive, to
be a good friend, sister and daughter. As a child I was always quiet and it doesn't get me in
trouble. My parents were always super
detailed with me, my father was a hard worker, and my mom too, she always gave
me the most beautiful birthday parties, with cartoons that I liked, we also
went on a trip to Guatemala in December and it became a tradition for us go
every year
My experience in high school changed a bit, I became
more open either with people and with my tastes growing
up, I was experimenting and changing, and trying, I cut my hair a million
times, I've had it in every way you can imagine,I even had a rebellious stage
in fashion, I was "emo", and my parents hated that, but as the years
passed I grew up In the end, the style that I currently have is super calm, I
love dressing in neutral tones, pastel pinks, with pants and skirts, very
feminine, in school, math my parents always had to pay me for a tutor after
school because I didn't understand anything, the teachers who taught me were
all very patient and kind to me, I think they knew it wasn't easy for me, I
never knew how to connect with numbers has always been difficult for me, but I
was very good at English, language and literature and social studies, I wasn't
a fan of sports either.
I was in 3 schools, for different reasons, but in the school that I
enjoyed the most was " El colegio La ceiba", we were like a family,
the school was private and bilingual, and its specialty was activities, it did
recreational events for almost everything, Day to go in jeans, pajama day,
talent show, pastorela, and much more, enjoy my adolescence to the fullest. I was able to enjoy singing, dancing, doing activities
with my friends, and I have always been grateful.
Now that I am a young adult of almost 21 years old, I
would like to focus on getting my degree, graduating with a good percentage in
my grades, perhaps working as a tutor in an academy or as a teacher in a
college. to then be able to study arts and sell my paintings and drawings, I would say that my greatest passion in life is art,
since I was little I have shown interest in painting, drawing, and for a time
it was a way of de-stressing, I tend to be a bit harsh with myself sometimes in
the area of not being able to make my works be perfect, but I have had to
understand that everyone goes at their own pace, and I have to be more patient
with my process. maybe also travel and get to know people who make my soul
always full of love and happiness. I
would also like to give my family a better life, help them for everything they
have done for me
Thank God, I have not had traumatic experiences, or
experiences that have left me devastated, I think I have had a peaceful life, I
have had ups and downs in my life but thanks to all the people and experiences
that have shaped me into the person I am now, I was able to learn how to solve
problems and how to deal with each situation, the truth is that I am an extremely
anxious person, I tend to get stressed quickly And I can be too sentimental,
but at the end of the day, nobody is perfect, and I have come to love myself
and my flaws too.
